Your Coach

Claire Steels has over 10 years of experience within the fitness industry, ranging from personal training & coaching to lecturing. She is the creator & director of Steels Fitness, a fitness company that is dedicated to helping you make fitness a sustainable part of your life, using workouts, training plans and retreats to build knowledge and confidence.

As a keen sportswomen Claire has spent most of her life competing in a variety of sports including hockey, running & duathlon. Claire has competed in both world and european championships bringing home multiple medals from both. It is through duathlons that she developed her love for cycling, the sport that she now focuses on.

Claire has spent the last two years road racing in the U.K against some of the best female cyclist in the country. In 2020 Claire will enter the UCI women’s peloton, racing for UCI continental team, Sopela Women’s Team.

Retreat Information

Organised over a five to seven day period, these retreats are aimed any fitness level and offer a structured training camp with a group of between eight and twelve people. Specific location and formats may vary but an example retreat will have you at the bottom of the Tramuntana mountains with the climbs of Sa Calobra and Puig Major just a short ride away and less than 10km away from Port Pollenca and the infamous lighthouse ride.

Your days will start with a buffet breakfast before heading out for the day. All of your rides will be led by a local guide to make sure that you see the best views and get the best coffee and cake!

Cycling specific core and stretching sessions will be available in the afternoon before a buffet style evening meal.

In your free time, you can explore the local town, enjoy coffee and cake on the square or lounge by the pool in the stunning Can Butxaca house.

Included in your visit is accommodation, airport transfers and breakfast.  Full-board & half-board options are also available depending on which retreat you select. Flights are not included.
